Ambootleg

Ambootleg is the first-ever designer toy exhibit in Iligan City. And no, these aren’t bootlegs. All the toys here are original, made by local artists with characters they created. But you might still feel a little “hala murag kaila ko ani” because traces of pop culture sneak into the shapes, faces, and attitudes. That’s the fun of it. 

Ambot means “I don’t know,” bootleg means “not official”. Together it’s a wink, a remix, a rebellion. These toys don’t follow the rules. They follow instinct, memory, and sometimes, just vibes. Question your childhood. Then say “ambot uy, ganahan lagi ko ani.”
